RSPM’s Dayle Bayliss promotes a career in construction for pupils at Ipswich School

Ipswich School and Ipswich High School joined forces on March 23rd 2011 to hold a careers convention for pupils keen to learn more about the wide ranging options open to them in the future. Representatives from, among others, Law, Medicine, Banking, Army Careers, Veterinary Practice and Dentistry spoke enthusiastically about their vocations, mixing the benefits with the reality of working life.
RICS is the world's leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property and construction. As people, governments, banks and commercial organisations continue to demand more assurance of certified standards and ethics, attaining RICS status is the recognised mark of property professionalism. ‘RICS matrics’ is for students, trainees and all those with less than 10 years post qualification and Dayle plays an active role in the East Anglian network.
Keen to enthuse others with her passion for buildings, Dayle accepted, on behalf of RICS matrics, the half hour challenge of winning some future industry high flyers.
Dayle, Construction Director at RSPM says,
“I love my work in the construction industry and can’t resist an opportunity to tell students how much there is on offer. My mission is to make it top of the list of most sought after careers and this was the perfect forum.”
