In addition to construction and project management, R&S also offer a comprehensive design-build service for clients who wish to procure high quality buildings as quickly and economically as possible. This one-stop service is available from inception to completion for all types of projects, both large and small, the primary objectives being cost and programme certainty and exemplary standards of design and construction.
R&S Design and Development can provide full, multi-disciplinary design team input or, alternatively, offer partial services in accordance with client requirements. Typically, however, a project would proceed from the briefing stages through Planning and Building Regulation approvals to detailed design and production information prior to work commencing on site with fully co-ordinated drawings and specifications, a fast-track programme and firm costings.
The Design Team normally comprises experienced architects, structural and building services engineers, quantity surveyors, building control and fire engineering specialists, planning supervisors and DDA/H&S consultants. Architectural, structural, geotechnical, contamination and environmental surveys can also be arranged if required.
R&SDD have proven expertise in the healthcare sector but a wide range of projects are currently being undertaken including prestigious houses for private clients, commercial and industrial developments, offices and a business park.
